What are the current Apex Care Package weapons in Season 20?
What are the Apex Care Package weapons?
As of the Apex Season 20 mid season patch, Apex Care Packages will contain Heirloom rarity weapons from their second spawn onwards. The first set of Care Packages that land in the game will now contain Gold Fully Kitted Weapons. These are:
- R-301
- RE-45
- Mastiff
- Devotion
- 30-30 Repeater
Afterwards, you'll find one of the current Care Package weapons:
Wingman
The Wingman is one of the most powerful care package weapons ever seen. The iconic pistol received a big buff as it entered the care package. Dealing 50 damage to the body, 45 to legs and 95 to heads.
The Wingman's headshot damage is boosted by the Skullpiercer Elite. This ignores the damage reduction Helmets give, meaning the Wingman deals that 95 damage every time.
Kraber
The Kraber has been a staple of the Apex Care package weapons lineup. The sniper isn't quite the same one shot guaranteed kill as it was in the past, but it is still devastating. It has both the ability to turn a game around for you, or tilt someone off the face of the planet.
The most challenging thing about the Kraber is undoubtedly getting your hands on it. Everyone wants to pick up the games strongest weapon.
Bocek
The Bocek stays in the care-pack in Season 20. It has great draw speed, and and Shattercaps make it a fearsome close range weapon too.
Let's be honest, the Bocek just isn't as exciting as the other weapons that can spawn. Even the buffs the weapon got in Season 19 doesn't stop most players passing it up.
The Bocek can deal serious damage at long range. Plus, with the improvement to Shattercaps it can be pretty powerful when you are up close and personal.
EVA-8
The Prowler SMG is back on the floor, getting reverted back to the last time it was on the ground. Replacing it is the EVA-8, the high speed Shotgun. This weapon gets Hammerpoints as it joins the Apex care package weapons lineup.
- Damage reduced to 6 (was 7)
- Fire rate increased to 3 (was 2.4)
- Recoil reduced to better match the much faster fire rate
- Hammer Points: 20% damage increase against flesh (+1 damage)
- Gold Shotgun Bolt: shells reloaded on slide increased to 2 (was 1)
- Note: this change only affects the Care Package EVA-8
How can I see which of the Apex Care Package weapons is inside?
Skirmisher legends in Apex can scan the contents of Care Package weapons from afar. That lets you get a read on if your favourite weapon is in there, and you can make a dash to pick it up. If the package is empty, you can still see what used to be in there. So if a nearby enemy has a Kraber you can get out of range fast.
