Make sure to equip the skins you’ve earned for your Soldiers in Battlefield 6.

While it might not seem like it at first glance, there's a slew of customization options in Battlefield 6. The most popular form of customization is weapon camos, and you unlock those by ranking up weapons to different levels. However, you can also earn and equip Soldier skins, which are used to deck out the characters for each class and faction in Battlefield 6.

Unlike weapon camos, though, Soldier skins aren't unlocked through grinding out levels in Battlefield 6. It can also be difficult to actually equip any skins you have earned, as the game doesn't make it easy to find and equip the skins you've unlocked.

If you're looking to add some extra customization to Battlefield 6, check out the guide below to see exactly how to equip your unlocked Soldier skins.

Equipping Soldier skins in Battlefield 6

Fortunately, equipping any Soldier skin that you've unlocked in Battlefield 6 is fairly simple. However, it does require you to go through a few different menus and click several buttons along the way.

Below, you can see the steps to find and equip Soldier skins:

  • From the main menu of Battlefield 6, go to the "Loadouts" tab from the bar at the top of the screen
  • Here, select the "Appearance" box, which is between "Recon" and "Vehicles"
  • In the Appearance menu, click on any of the four class Soldiers
  • This brings you to the menu for that specific class and faction, and you can see all of the available skins for that Soldier
  • To equip a skin, you need to have it unlocked. If you have an additional skin unlocked, simply press its box to equip it onto your Soldier
  • While you'll only see four Soldier options in the Appearance menu, you can also swap between both factions by clicking the "Swap Faction" button on the right side of the screen
  • This gives you four new Soldiers to equip skins on, as they have different skins from the other faction
  • Once you're satisfied with the skins for all eight of your Soldiers in Battlefield 6, exit the Appearance menu. If you equipped any new Soldier skins, you should see them equipped on the soldiers in the background of the Loadouts screen

And that's all there is to finding and equipping your Soldier skins in Battlefield 6. You'll unlock new skins through promotions, completing challenges, and leveling it up, so it's always worth to frequently check your Appearance menu and go through each Soldier's skins to see if you've unlocked anything new.
