Can the Hawker HX break into the meta in Warzone?
Sniping just got a little better in Call of Duty: Warzone, as the new Hawker HX sniper rifle was just added in Season 1 Reloaded. The sniper is a modern-day version of the Ballista sniper from Black Ops 2, and it looks and behaves just like the classic. It's more of a quickscoping option compared to other snipers in Warzone, but the Hawker HX can still be a formidable long-range weapon with the right loadout.

Best loadout for the Hawker HX in Warzone
The Hawker HX's biggest competition in Warzone is the VS Recon, which currently dominates the sniping meta in Season 1. Compared to the VS Recon, the Hawker HX has better mobility with slightly worse damage range. However, with certain attachments, we can make the Hawker HX essentially on par with the VS Recon, making it arguably the best sniper in the game.

We've decided to go with a mix of damage range, bullet velocity, and mobility for the Hawker HX loadout. Mobility is increased with the Auroral Light Grip and the 1MW Instinct Laser, both of which increase aim down sight speed and sprint-to-fire time. Then, we have the Monolithic Suppressor, 23.7" Composite-11 Barrel, and .338 LM Overpressured to improve damage range and bullet velocity.
