CDL Major 5: How to watch and earn free Twitch Drops

This is your chance to earn free in-game items for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The Call of Duty League’s (CDL) next stop is Toronto, Canada, for Major 5. The top teams are in attendance, with just a few weeks remaining before CoD Champs. The stakes are high as these squads battle for seeding and momentum. Fans, too, have added incentive to watch CDL Major 5 with various Twitch Drops rewards up for grabs.

Today, we’ll cover how you can watch the tournament and unlock free Twitch Drops.

CDL Major 5 schedule and format

Thursday, May 25, is the first day of competition with Winners Bracket action. OpTic Texas, fresh off of back-to-back runner-up finishes, is the team many think will win the tournament. However, other standouts, including the Atlanta FaZe and hometown favorites Toronto Ultra are ready to spoil OpTic’s run.

Another storyline worth watching is the Road to Champs battle between the Minnesota ROKKR and Vegas Legion. The latter still has a chance to qualify, but ROKKR has looked solid after bringing in Attach and moving Fame to the SMG role.

Here is a look at the Winners Bracket matches on Thursday and what you can expect throughout the weekend:
