Find out how to unlock the new AR in Season 2.
Season 2 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone is rapidly approaching, and there's a ton of content coming with it. Treyarch is bringing a heap of new content to multiplayer, battle royale, Zombies, and Endgame, meaning every player will have something fresh to enjoy when Feb. 5 rolls around. Of course, most players will gravitate towards the new weapons that are set to arrive in Season 2. Specifically, the EGRT-17 assault looks quite interesting, and there are a few ways you can choose to unlock it.
Unlock the EGRT-17 in Black Ops 7 Season 2
Fortunately, the EGRT-17 is arriving at the beginning of Season 2, meaning the new AR will be a Battle Pass weapon. As with all Battle Pass weapons, the EGRT-17 is completely free on the Season 2 pass, meaning all you have to do is unlock enough tiers to reach it.
The EGRT-17 is available on Battle Pass Page 6 as the "HVT," which means you need to unlock every tier on Page 6 before you can unlock the assault rifle. You unlock tiers using Battle Pass Tokens, and these are earned through playing matches or directly purchased via COD Points. Once you unlock every tier on Battle Pass Page 6, you can unlock the EGRT-17 and immediately start using it in Black Ops 7 or Warzone.
If you want something a little flashier, though, there's also a weapon blueprint for the EGRT-17 available on Battle Pass Page 14. This is also an "HVT" tier, and the blueprint comes with a regular variant and a BlackCell variant, with the latter only being available to players who purchase the BlackCell version of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
For anyone who isn't looking to grind out the Battle Pass, there will be a store bundle that contains a blueprint for the EGRT-17 released sometime at the start of Season 2. We don't know the contents, price, or exact release time for this bundle, but it should arrive with Season 2 or a day or two after the update drops.
