Destiny 2 Gouge relocator puzzle solution

Wondering how to solve the Gogue relocator puzzle in Edge of Fate? You’re in the right place! In classic Destiny fashion, the story missions in Destiny 2’s latest expansion are brimming with intricate levels and raid-like puzzles. Some are relatively easier to navigate, while others may force you to scratch your head several times. 

The Gouge is the fourth campaign mission in Edge of Fate, in which you must dismantle the House of Exile Prime Servitor. This mission relies heavily on using the relocator to open up new areas or navigate convoluted spaces. As such, in this guide, we explain how to solve the Gouge relocator puzzles in Destiny 2.

 Two relocator puzzles at the tail end of the Gouge mission stand out among others. You can see how to solve both of them below:

The first tedious relocator puzzle in the Gouge mission comes around after defeating the Superior Overseer Servitor. Continue onwards to find a narrow path leading downwards. As you will notice, it's full of deadly laser beams and satellites. Look further below, and you will find two rotating plates. Shooting these plates will move the mini-satellites in the vicinity and redirect the white rays coming off them. 

Shoot the top-hand plate so that it redirects the mini-satellite between the plates in such a way that its rays emerge outwards. Now, use the relocator to shoot the first satellite. This should allow this beam to pass all the way down and activate the portal.

The second confusing relocator puzzle comes after the second phase of the Giver’s Bounty Exile Prime Servitor boss fight. Use the nearby relocator to relay the energy from the satellite. This will activate the portal, but you won’t be able to access it. 

It’s because there’s a second satellite right beyond this arena. You can find it peeking from the hole in the wall. We have marked its location in the screenshot above, in case you can’t find it. Activate the second satellite within the given time to access the portal.
