Will Consus win it again?

A well-known hobby for many is the Geoguessr game, and some players have the goal of winning Geoguessr World Cup 2024. After the successful 2023 edition, the competition is back for 2024.

Several players are already fighting for a place in Geoguessr World Cup 2024. This event will take place in Stockholm from Sept. 11 to Sept. 14. Sweden's Stockholm City Hall will host the event, and the competition will have a $50,000 prize pool.

Who's playing in Geoguessr World Cup 2024?

The three continents' qualifiers are underway, and we already have players with tickets to Geoguessr World Cup 2024. These include 15 of the 24 participants.

The first to qualify were the five players from the Americas regions at the end of February. Jonathan "Gingey" Chen became the champion. More recently, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) had its finals, which led to the discovery of 10 representatives from the region. Spaniard Alonso “Topotic” Philippe won in the European region. Pieter "Consus" Noordijk was crowned the winner of the 2023 edition of the competition and will defend his title in 2024.

The Asian region will have its representatives discovered in two stages, as well as in the Americas and EMEA. The qualifiers will happen from May 9 to May 12. Additionally, the final will go from June 14 to June 16.
