Fortnite x Dragon Ball: How to unlock Son Gohan and Piccolo

Piccolo and Son Gohan are the latest additions to the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration. Here’s how you can get them.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball part two arrived early this morning via patch v23.30. Epic Games teased a continuation of the ultra-successful collaboration yesterday, and it's finally here. Few knew what to expect when the update dropped, but Fortnite ultimately welcomed two new Dragon Ball characters to the game.

Here's how you can get your hands on Son Gohan and Piccolo in Fortnite Battle Royale.

How can I unlock Son Gohan and Piccolo?

Gohan, Goku's son, has officially joined Fortnite's growing list of anime characters. His appearance draws from the recent Dragon Ball Super series. Additionally, Gohan's best friend and mentor, Piccolo, has emerged in Fortnite. The two characters come equipped with accessories that should be familiar to fans of the anime series.

Son Gohan and Piccolo are available via the item shop as part of the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration. The outfits and accessories can be purchased separately or via their respective Son Gohan and Piccolo Bundles. It's worth noting that those who acquire the bundle will also receive the Gohan & Piccolo Loading Screen for 2,200 V-Bucks per bundle.

Here's a look at all of the cosmetics available in the second Fortnite x Dragon Ball stint:

  • Son Gohan Outfit with Gohan's Charging Up Emote and Gohan's Cape Back Bling (1,800 V-Bucks)
  • Gohan's Beast Axe Pickaxe (800 V-Bucks)
  • Capsule No. 576 Glider (800 V-Bucks)
  • Piccolo Outfit with Cape and Turban Back Bling, Demon Symbol Back Bling, and Piccolo's Charging Up Emote (1,800 V-Bucks)
  • Handheld House Pickaxe (800 V-Bucks)
  • Red Ribbon Army Aircraft Glider (800 V-Bucks)

What else to expect in the new Fortnite x Dragon Ball collab

There's more to the latest anime crossover than the outfits. Epic Games has produced a complete package, including a creative island, quests, and gameplay elements. Furthermore, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items are back.

Epic's blog post indicated that the initial round of Fortnite x Dragon Ball cosmetics would be available soon, so keep an eye out for that. Also, check out our complete patch v23.30 breakdown for more on the new update!
