Fortnitemares 2025 is underway, and the game has changed significantly. In addition to the usual Halloween makeover, items, and weapons, three bosses have spawned in for players to defeat in exchange for items and services. This guide outlines everything you need to know about locating The Mother of Thorns, Jason, and Carver in the game.
All Fortnitemares 2025 boss locations
Jason Voorhees and Ultima Carver are the two bosses that always spawn in a fixed location, respectively at Creepy Camps and Viney Shafts. They could be roaming the area, so it may take some time to locate them. For example, Jason patrols the shoreline near Creepy Camps, and that's where we found him.
Doja Cat, also known as The Mother of Thorns, can spawn in one of three locations: Freaky Fields, Gourdy Gate, or Supernova Academy. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell where she will spawn beforehand, so some luck is involved. Either way, she will be sitting on a throne and will attack when someone is near.

What happens when I eliminate the boss characters?
As with most Fortnite boss characters, Jason and Carver will vanish off the map and drop a few items after you eliminate them. Doja Cat is once again the outlier in this case. Although she does drop items when you eliminate her, she will also join your team.
That means the NPC will remain with you for the duration of the match until an opponent eliminates you or her.

You can also grab the Ghostface Mythic by heading to one of the many phone booths located across the Island, but there is no boss involved in that.
