The Horde Rush LTM goes live with today’s Fortnitemares 2024 update!

Fortnite’s fan-favorite Horde Rush Limited-Time Mode (LTM) is back again for this year’s edition of Fortnitemares. The game’s Halloween event is the perfect setting for a mode where the objective is to overcome waves of monsters en route to victory. In this year’s update, Horde Rush also includes a new feature, and here’s everything you need to know!

Horde Rush Fortnite LTM: What is it?

Horde Rush puts you and three teammates onto a map where your goal is to eliminate Cube Monsters. These enemies come in different shapes, sizes, health values, and damage output. You and your squad will encounter various waves of these enemies during a match.

In addition to the enemies, Horde Rush also features a moving zone like a typical Fortnite match. Various weapons are available at your disposal. Ultimately, if everything goes according to plan, you will battle the final boss, a giant cube in this version, to earn victory.

How to play Horde Rush

Horde Rush will be available once the Fortnite downtime concludes. You can find it in the ‘Discover’ tab beneath the “main lobby,” where you can see your character. It should appear prominently after the update goes live. If you're having trouble, check the "By Epic" category.

What is new with this edition?

Apart from a new final boss, Epic Games has added Fortnite's Mod Benches to the Horde Rush LTM. That means you can modify your weapons to make your Cube Monster hunting more enjoyable.

Lastly, there is a separate set of quests for Horde Rush. They will become available sequentially throughout Fortnitemares 2024, and you can earn XP by completing them.

Horde Rush will remain in Fortnite until the event concludes on Nov. 2, so jump and slay some Cube Monsters. There is plenty more content to enjoy during this year's Halloween celebration!
