So why does Star Wars always collaborate with Fortnite around this time? Well, it is a simple answer. May 4 is considered Star Wars Day. The day originated from the phrase "May the fourth be with you," making the day a holiday amongst fans all over the world.
Fortnite has already even released the date for its next Star Wars collaboration, which is May 3, 2024. This leads us to believe that they will continue to keep this trend up.
Last year, the game released an Anakin and Obi-Wan skin during this time period, with more skins released the year before during the same week.
