Here are five different starter squads that can get the job done in the first weeks of EA FC 25 Ultimate Team.

Building a starter squad in EA SPORTS 25 Ultimate Team may take a lot of time, especially if you're new to the game mode and don't understand what attributes are important.

On top of that, there's also the challenge of making enough Coins to afford your starter squad. You want to splash some Coins, but not too much, as it's important to build a bank and save for better players that will make their way into Ultimate Team throughout the cycle.

With that in mind, here are the best starter squads for the top leagues of EA FC 25 Ultimate Team—Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1—so you can focus on what's really important: getting good at the game, win matches, and grind some Coins.

This squad is reasonably balanced to get you started in Ultimate Team and win a lot of matches in the beginning. It has all the Pace you need in the back and up front, some great dribblers, and above-average midfielders to pass the ball.

If you think David Raya and Matheus Cunha are too expensive, you can swap them for Neto and Callum Wilson respectively, and save some Coins.

This squad has all the makings of a good team in EA FC: solid back line, decent midfielders, and lots of Pace up front. Although the attackers lack a bit of Shooting, they make up with the Pace. Plus, Iñaki Williams should be really good in the first weeks of Ultimate Team.

  • GK: Mattia Perin (Juventus)
  • LB: Leonardo Spinazzola (Napoli)
  • CB: Pierre Kalulu (Juventus)
  • CB: Odilon Kossounou (Atalanta)

At this point you've probably figured out our formula: Pace in the back line and up front. Some of these Serie A players will be real bargains for the value they bring in, and it will allow you to afford stars like Zaccagni and Lookman, who will score a lot of goals for you.

This Bundesliga squad is everything you could ask for in the beginning of EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. You have quality players in both the left and right wing that can dribble and run past defenders, and two great attackers up front.

The backline is also solid to avoid you trouble against good attackers and Nübel is capable of making some saves at a really low cost.

In terms of quality in the midfield, this team is probably the best. The core of Neves, Zaïre-Emery, and Zakaria can defend well and feed good balls to the attackers, which speaking of, are really good considering their price tag.

Jonathan David has been a good card over the past few years of Ultimate Team and Moses Simon is practically a cult icon at this stage.
