What is the Hearthstone Pre-Release Tavern Brawl?

The upcoming Tavern Brawl is meant for players to be able to open pre-purchased packs, try out cards from the new expansion and earn more cards to update their deck.

The goal of Hearthstone with this Tavern Brawl is to add value to pre-purchased packs while still allowing everyone to participate.

In Blizzard's recent blog, they iterated that this is the first time they have ever done something like this, so they made sure to add more information.

With The Great Dark Beyond having the most rare cards, it seems as if players will have to get five to six wins when playing to achieve some of these cards.

Regardless, the event is meant to help players learn the new cards while also getting some for themselves.
