Read a book in inZOI now!
There are many reasons to read a book in inZOI, ranging from a level-up requirement to simply because you want to. However, things get a little complicated when the game tells you to read a particular book. Here's how you can read specific books in inZOI.
Reading books in inZOI
There are many ways to read a book in inZOI. You can even do it from the comfort of your own home! However, if you don't meet the requirements, there will be spots in the city where you can do this instead.
You will be required to read books throughout the game. For Zois going through school, they will regularly be assigned Homework which involves reading a specific book title. Sometimes, Ambitions will also require your Zoi to read a certain genre of book to progress.
Read books inside the house
To read books from your own house, make sure you have a Bookshelf. To get one:
- Go to Edit House.
- On the Furnitures tab, search Bookshelf
- Pick any one you like and place it inside your home!

Read books without a bookshelf in the house
The city supports the Zois, and you can 100% get through all the book-related missions without owning a bookshelf. You can do this through the libraries and other areas with bookshelves in the city. For example, in Dowon City, you can do this at the AR Library. To get there:
- Open the Map
- Select the Library or other establishment with a bookshelf.
- Select Go Here
- This will make your Zoi walk there. This understandably takes a lot of time.
- If you own a car, select Drive Here.
- This will take considerably less time than walking.
Read, Zoi, Read!
Once the Bookshelf is purchased and placed inside your home, or you're at the city library, you can:
- Select the Zoi that you want to be the one reading.
- Have them interact with the Bookshelf.
- Select Read Book.
- Select the book you want to read!
- There are options like Read Self-Help book.
- Scrolling down the flyaway menu allows you to pick from specific books. Be careful though, some of them have similar titles - make sure you're reading the one required by Homework!
