League of Legends Worlds 2025 schedule, matches, and results

This year's League of Legends World Championship (LoL Worlds 2025) event happens between Oct. 14 and Nov. 9. Only the best teams can compete for a chance at making esports history. Above is the LoL Worlds 2025 schedule. The esports action begins with the Play-In Stage on Oct. 14. The Swiss Stage then runs from Oct. 15 to Oct. 25. This is followed by the Knockout Stage from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 before the competition concludes with the Grand Final on Nov. 9.

T1 and Invictus Gaming (IG) duked it out in a Fearless Draft best-of-five (Bo5) match on Oct. 14 with T1 winning 3-1 to conclude the Play-In stage. The next set of matches are best-of-one (Bo1) and best-of-three (Bo3) ones in the Swiss Stage between Oct. 15 and Oct. 25. All of the elimination and advancement matches in this stage are Bo3 under Fearless Draft as well. Next, the Knockout Stage consists of the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the LoL Worlds 2025 Grand Final. These matches are all Bo5 ones and also under Fearless Draft.

In terms of the LoL Worlds 2025 location, there are three in total. The Play-In Stage took place at the Beijing Smart Esports Center. This venue also hosts the Swiss Stage. Then, the Knockout Stage heads to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai before and the esports action concludes with the Grand Final at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu.
