Sometimes, you and your friend might have a bit of a fallout or they go inactive. When this happens, you usually want to remove your Affinity with them in the game in exchange for another active friend.

How to remove Affinity in ML
Follow this step-by-step guide on how you can remove Affinity with your friends in MLBB:
- Open the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang app on your phone.
- Top on the Friends List icon below your list of online and offline friends section.
- Select the Close Friends tab.
- Search for the friend you want to remove affinity in ML.
- Tap the Trash Can icon on the right side of the row for your selected friend.
- Confirm the removal.
Once you remove your and your friend’s affinity, a request will be sent to them in-game to confirm the removal. They can accept the proposal or persuade you to cancel it. However, if they don’t respond within seven days, the game will automatically approve the Affinity removal.
Alternatively, if you request to remove Affinity with a player in ML who has been inactive for 30 days and beyond, the request is also automatically approved. The Affinity between the two players will still be saved and will return if the two establish a new relationship in the game: Partners, Bros, Besties, and Confidants.
If you really want to permanently remove the Affinity progress between you and another player, you need to remove them from your friends list. This will wipe all of your Affinity and Familiarity progress with the player. If you want to be friends with them again, you will have to start from scratch.
