As of Overwatch 2 Season 10, players can no longer get Overwatch Coins by completing weekly challenges. However, the Microsoft Rewards method still works. Players can also get Overwatch Coins through the Battle Pass as of Season 10. Read on for details!

How to get free Overwatch Coins

  1. Visit the Microsoft rewards page
  2. Press the "Redeem" tab
  3. Search for "Overwatch"
  4. Click on the "Overwatch Coins Digital Code" reward
  5. Set your goal and earn Microsoft Rewards Points
  6. Collect enough Microsoft Rewards Points for an Overwatch Coins Digital Code
  7. Go to the Battle.net "Account Overview" page
  8. Enter the code into the "Redeem a Code" section

Can you still get Overwatch Coins for free?

Yes, you can still get Overwatch Coins for free by redeeming Microsoft Rewards Points. Head over to the Microsoft Rewards page and sign in to your account. Next, click on the "Redeem" tab and search for "Overwatch." Click on the "Overwatch Coins Digital Code" reward. Next, set your goal of how many Overwatch Coins you would like to earn.

How much is 1,000 Overwatch Coins?

  • 200 Overwatch Coins = 1,800 Microsoft Rewards Points
  • 500 Overwatch Coins = 5,000 Microsoft Rewards Points
  • 1,000 Overwatch Coins = 10,000 Microsoft Rewards Points

To obtain 1,000 Overwatch Coins, you must redeem 10,000 Microsoft Rewards Points. At times, other options such as 500 Overwatch Coins for 5,000 points or 200 Overwatch Coins for 1,800 points may be available.

How to earn Microsoft Rewards Points faster

  1. Complete the tutorial
  2. Search with Bing on PC or mobile
  3. Do the daily activities three days in a row
  4. Complete quizzes and bonus quizzes
  5. Earn points when you shop with Microsoft
  6. Install the Microsoft Bing mobile app
  7. Get the Microsoft Rewards browser extension

If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards Points system, then you'll go through a tutorial upon login. The tutorial results in 75 points. If you go under the "Earn" tab, there are other ways to earn points as well. These include activities that refresh on a daily basis. Additionally, when you complete a set of these, you'll go into a streak and can unlock streak bonuses. The amount of points you can earn may also vary by location.

Overwatch 2 Coins in the Battle Pass

As noted, you can also get Overwatch Coins through the Battle Pass. "Starting Season 10, you will earn coins as you progress through the Free and Premium tracks of the Battle Pass, making them easier and more consistent to earn," Blizzard stated. "We’re also increasing the number of coins you can earn for free from 540 to 600 coins per season."

  • $9.99 USD = 1,000 Overwatch Coins

  • $99.99 USD = 11,600 Overwatch Coins (1,600 bonus)
