How do you get this Ultra Beast?
Pokémon GO is all about Ultra Beasts at the moment. GO Fest is full of them, we've seen Ultra Wormholes appearing and Necrozma is set to make its debut. But, we're still waiting for the release of Naganadel in Pokémon GO.
We know that Naganadel's Pokémon GO release must be soon. At the start of the season, all players were awarded an encounter with Poipole. This legendary Pokémon, first seen in Sword and Shield, evolves into Naganadel.
Can you get Naganadel in Pokémon GO?
Naganadel evolves from Poipole. It will cost 200 Candy.
However, you currently cannot get Naganadel in Pokémon GO. There is not yet the option to evolve Poipole in Pokémon GO.
But, the season long Special Research has awarded players 125 Poipole Candy. We advise holding onto these, and not powering up Poipole. These candy are being given to every player so we can all evolve Poipole into Naganadel without having to use any Rare Candy or walk Poipole as our buddy.
We are still waiting for the final page of the World of Wonders research. It seems likely that whatever this final page contains, it will relate to finally evolving Poipole into Naganadel in Pokémon GO.
Sadly, for now, all Trainers can do is wait and see what Professor Willow returns with from his latest investigation.
Naganadel best Pokémon GO moveset
While we wait for Naganadel to arrive, we can already look ahead to what sort of Pokémon it will be. Naganadel will be a Poison and Dragon-type Pokémon, with a max CP of 3587.
As a Dragon-type, it won't really make much of an impact. We have some already insanely powerful Pokémon in that category including the likes of Mega Rayquaza and Origin forme Palkia.
However, as a Poison-type it should be pretty good. It's projected that Naganadel will be about as good as Gengar in the Poison-type category as a Raid Attacker.
The best moves for Naganadel will be:
- Poison Jab (Fast Attack)
- Sludge Bomb (Charged Attack)
Naganadel can also learn Air Slash for a Fast Attack. Additionally, it can learn Dragon Pulse, Fell Stinger and Acrobatics for Charged Attacks.
In terms of PvP, sadly, Naganadel is not likely to be good in either Master League or Ultra League.
