Whenever a new Pokémon comes to the game, there can be a variety of ways to get your hands on them. We see debuts via Eggs, Raids, Research, Max Battles and of course in the wild. Yamper and its evolution Boltund are some of the most popular Galar Pokémon so are sure to be in high demand.
We've got you covered with everything you need to know about how to get Yamper and evolve it into Boltund during the event in Pokémon GO.
How to get Yamper in Pokémon GO
The Yampers Paw Prints event in Pokémon GO is quite short and sweet! It runs from June 20 until June 22, starting and finishing at midnight local time.
During these three days, Yamper will be spawning in the wild. However, it is a rare spawn so don't expect to see it all over the place.
Thankfully, that will not be the only way to find this brand new Pokémon. Yamper will also be behind the "make an Excellent Throw" Field Research task. This will be a 50% chance, with Furfrou the other Pokémon included. That's not bad odds for a Field Research.

In addition, you are guaranteed two Yamper encounters from the Yamper's Paw Prints Premium Timed Research in Pokémon GO. This is priced at $0.99, which isn't too bad for what it includes. You get a Yamper encounter every time you finish a page.
Also included in this Research is encounters with Snubbull, Poochyena, Rockruff and Furfrou. There is also 3000 Stardust and 4 Incense.
