The Reward Road is here in Pokémon GO.

Niantic unveiled a brand new Reward Scheme at the start of April. The Pokémon GO Reward Road had previously been trialled in selected regions, but has now been rolled out worldwide. This brings a new element to making purchases in Pokémon GO, and comes alongside several new monetization methods in April.

Of course, spending money on in-game purchases is always something you should carefully consider. We've broken down how the Reward Road works, what it costs to complete it and most importantly, is what it offers worth it?

Here is everything you need to know about the Reward Road in Pokémon GO.

How does the Reward Road work in Pokémon GO?

The Reward Road is a month long scheme that grants you extra rewards for the money you spend in Pokémon GO. That means if you already spend money in the game, these are free additional rewards you can earn without changing any of your spending habits.

Now, each purchase in Pokémon GO carries Reward Points. As you collect Points, you advance through the levels.

Purchases on the Pokémon GO Web Store earn you double Reward Points. The April Reward Road will last until April 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC. Reward Points and Reward Road levels will reset at that time.

What are the April Reward Road rewards?

Here are the rewards avaliable for working through the Reward Road in Pokémon GO.

  • Level 1: 3 Stickers
  • Level 2: 1 Premium Battle Pass
  • Level 3: 1 Incense, 2 Stickers
  • Level 4: 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Star Piece
  • Level 5: 2 Lure Modules, 8 Stickers
  • Level 6: 2 Incubators, 2 Incense, 2 Stickers
  • Level 7: 4 Premium Battle Passes, 3 Max Revives, 3 Max Potions
  • Level 8: 4 Incubators, 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 3 Golden Razz Berries
  • Level 9: 4 Premium Battle Passes, 4 Incubators
  • Level 10: 6 Premium Battle Passes, 6 Incubators, 6 Stickers

Is it worth completing the Reward Road?

On the Web Store, it will cost you about $250 to complete the Reward Road and this is $500 in the Pokémon GO App. Clearly, the rewards you get are not worth anywhere close to $500.

In addition, if you are spending so much money on PokéCoins or event tickets you will have more than enough Raid Passes, Incubators and Lucky Eggs already. So really, this Reward Road isn't worth chasing after.

However, if you already spend money on Pokémon GO (lets be honest, a lot of us do!) then these are nice little bonuses to give you a bit more bang for your buck.
