The Fall Market Event offers a bunch of new goodies for players to buy, with one of them being the Fall Egg from the Fall Pet Shop. For a 1% chance, the Swan pet can hatch from a Fall Egg, and it’s currently one of the most sought-after Divine Eggs in the game.
If you recently hatched a Swan or you got it from a trade, this guide will share all the Swan can do once it’s equipped in your garden.
Swan’s ability in Grow a Garden
Every 25 minutes, the Swan pet can visit another player’s garden and perform Swan Song, which copies one of the abilities from one of that player’s equipped pets. This ability is identical to the Mimic Octopus, the rarest pet from the Paradise Egg.
Swan’s second ability, the Bird of Grace, applies the Graceful Mutation to a random fruit.
Although the Swan has a longer cooldown for its mimicking ability than the Mimic Octopus, it can serve both as a mimic and mutator pet. This makes it an excellent pet for mutation stacking and entering servers with players who own lots of high-value pets like Disco Bee, Kitsune, Dragonfly, etc.
Graceful Mutation’s multiplier
The Graceful Mutation that the Swan pet provides can multiply the value of the affected plants by 77. It’s definitely a must-have mutation for your large, expensive fruits, and you can increase the number of your Graceful crops if you have more than one Swan roaming your garden.
How much is the Swan’s value in Grow a Garden?
The Swan is currently worth around 30 sextillion Sheckles, although few players might agree to trade it with you for the in-game currency. Instead, if you want to obtain Swan through trades, be prepared to offer pets with similar value, like Dilophosaurus, Griffin, Polar Bear, or Chicken Zombie.
Take note that you might even need to offer more pets if the Swan you’re trying to get is already mutated.
Tips for using the Swan in Grow a Garden
For Swan owners, consider applying these practices to take advantage of the Divine pet’s abilities:
- For obvious reasons, avoid playing on a private server with the Swan in your garden, unless the server already has plenty of other players.
- The fewer plants you have, the more likely the Swan can mutate the fruits that you want to get the Graceful Mutation. This technique, however, may limit your ability to participate in events.
- Just because you already got the Swan doesn’t mean that you should stop hatching those Fall Eggs you have! It’s a very easy Egg to acquire, so keep participating in the Fall Market Event for a chance to get more Swan that you can use to spam the Graceful Mutation or additional pieces for pet trades.
