Find out more about this mysterious NPC dude.

You just reached the Café in the Kingdom of Rose, and together with a bunch of NPCs around the area, you noticed a horned, dark-colored NPC chilling in one of the two tables.

That guy is named tort (spelled in lowercase letters), and like the Blox Fruit Dealer, Blox Fruit Gacha, and the Barista, tort also has the “$ Shop” sign above his head. You tried talking to him to see what he has to offer, but he responded with the words “I’m busy right now.”

If you’re wondering about tort’s purpose in Blox Fruits, this article will tell you why you can’t access his shop, as well as other important information about him.

In Second Sea, tort is located inside the Café, a safe zone found in the Kingdom of Rose, and for the Third Sea, you can find tort in the Mansion in the Floating Turtle.

The moment you enter the Café, tort should be on one of the round tables, standing in front of his laptop near the Bounty/Honor Expert. In Mansion, tort is on the left side the moment you enter the building, beside the top bounty board.

For 3,000 fragments, tort can offer you a race reroll. If your fragment balance is less than what tort asks, he’ll give you the “I’m busy” dialogue. In other words, he’s basically the race equivalent of the Blox Fruit Gacha, but instead of Money, you’ll need to spend fragments.

To check how many fragments you have, hover your cursor over the spot where your Money is, and it should reveal your fragments.

tort can only randomly change your current race to one of the following:

  • Shark
  • Angel
  • Human
  • Rabbit

Feel free to reroll your race as often as you can, given that you have thousands of fragments to spare. Fragments can be farmed by participating in Sea Events, fruit raids, or buying Random Surprises from the Death King in the Haunted Castle.
