Here are the three skills in RuneScape: DragonWilds that we feel you should level up first for the easiest time.

You won't get very far in RuneScape: Dragonwilds without higher skill levels. You'll need to grind a bit to get them up to the threshold required to keep advancing in the game. Of course, some are more useful than others. So, let's go over which skills you should level up first in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

We'll give you the skills, and the why and how about leveling them up before all of the others.

What are the best skills to level up first in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?

We've chosen three skills that we feel you should focus on in the early stages. Level these skills up first in RuneScape: Dragonwilds and you'll be on your way to surviving, dungeon crawling, and dragon slaying in no time.

Let's begin.

Attack

Attack may be the most useful skill in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Yes, you'll probably end up using a bow at some point, but when you get your hands on some serious melee weapons, this skill becomes invaluable.

Use your fists at first, craft a dagger, or swing away with a club or pickaxe. Just defeat enemies via melee to level it up and at most levels, you'll get a -1 Attack Stamina cost that can really add up over time. Get to level 11 for a magical Tempest Shield and to level 16 for additional melee attacks.

Woodcutting

Almost everything you'll create at the start of your playthrough requires wood. Like the Attack stat, the higher this one gets, the less stamina it costs to chop at a tree. Level it up as one of your first worthy skills in RuneScape: Dragonwilds to have enough materials for a lot of early objectives.

Once you hit level 11 on this one, you'll get Axtral Projection. You can fell multiple trees at once with that big of magic. Then at 16, felling a tree has a chance to drop a Bird Nest which can contain super useful or rare items.

Artisan

The third skill we feel you should level up first in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the Artisan skill. Craft weapons, armor, and other items to level this skill up. The penalty reduction for higher levels here gives you -1% Durability Loss on all equipment.

There's no level 16 perk here, but at level 11 you get Bark to Bones which can turn a tree into a stack of bones for you. Get it to 20 and you can Superheat fire-based equipment or crafting stations to speed them up. This will make creating your base and weaponry very easy, along with repairing your tools.
