Cook up all the Potions you can muster as long as you have the right ingredients.
At the start of RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you'll have very little in the way of healing supplies. While you can cook up some food to eat and water to drink, there won't be a single way to increase your HP after it gets low during a skirmish with an enemy or a big fall. Fortunately, as you progress, you'll discover there are Potions you can use to heal yourself or increase various other stats. The game even gives you some ingredients to make your own Potions, but doesn't explain how to use them in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
If you're tired of waiting for your HP to go back up or want some Potions of your own, look no further. You can read the guide below to see how the entire Potion-making process works and how to use the Brewing Cauldron in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
How to unlock and use the Brewing Cauldron in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Before you can even think about making some Potions, you need to first construct a Brewing Cauldron.
The Brewing Cauldron recipe is unlocked in Build Mode after you mine some Clay for the first time. The easiest place to mine Clay is in the swap to the northeast of Bramblemead Valley in Dragonwilds. Clay is located all over the swamp and looks like red/orange rectangular blocks that sit on top of boulders.
Once you have some Clay, and you'll want to mine a solid amount of it, head back to your base and bring up Build Mode by pressing "B." You can now head into the crafting tab of the build menu and find the Brewing Cauldron recipe underneath the "Processing" section. The recipe for the Brewing Cauldron is as follows:

With these ingredients, construct the Brewing Cauldron anywhere you want in your base. Then, interact with the cauldron once it's built to start making some Potions.

With your new Brewing Cauldron built, you can bring up the Potion menu by interacting with it. You'll see the menu has four total slots where you can insert resources to create a single Potion.
The three top slots need to be filled with various resources, such as herbs, clay, food, etc., while the single middle slot needs to be filled with Fuel.

Let's start with the top three slots. You'll usually have to insert an herb, such as Marrentill or Harralander, a fruit, such as Redberries, and a Clay Vessel. You can find Marrentill and Harralander in the same swamp where you found Clay. The herbs grow out of the ground and are very easy to find as long as you look on dry land near trees and boulders. Redberries grow all over the map and aren't too difficult to find.
As for Clay Vessels, this requires the use of a Kiln. When you mine your first Clay, you also gain the recipe for the Kiln, which requires the following resources to build:
- x8 Ash Logs
- x20 Stone
- x6 Clay
- x10 Fire Rune
With the Kiln built, you also want to construct a Pottery Wheel, which is also unlocked after mining Clay. At the Pottery Wheel, you need to craft some Clay Vessels (unfired). Bring these over to the Kiln and insert them into the top slot to produce fully fired Clay Vessels.

Also at the Kiln, insert some Ash Logs into the top slot. This creates Charcoal, which is what you need to use as Fuel inside the Brewing Cauldron.
By this point, you need to have some mixture of the following items:
- Herbs
- Fruits
- Clay Vessels
- Charcoal
The easiest Potion to start making in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a Weak Healing Potion, which you can make by inserting Redberries, Harralander, and Clay Vessels in the top three slots of a Brewing Cauldron (in that order). Then, insert some Charcoal into the middle slot and you'll be able to make a Weak Healing Potion.

You can continue to mix and match ingredients to come up with all sorts of different Potions in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. For example, Harralander, Clay, and Clay Vessels produce a Weak Quarrymaster Potion.
