How to move structures you build in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Base building and construction are huge parts of RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Building allows you to construct crafting stations to upgrade your gear, put a roof over your head, and protect yourself from the nasty goblins of Ashenfall. However, sometimes, you build something in the wrong spot, or you simply want to expand your base and move some structures around. If you find yourself in this situation, you need to know how to move your structures in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Of course, if you've already tried to move some things around, you might have noticed that there's not an option to do so. Well, lucky for you, today we're going to go over how you can move your structures in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

So there is no button to move structures after they've been placed because it's currently impossible to do in Dragonwilds. With the game being in early access, there's certainly some key features missing from every area. The inability to move structures after placing them is, unfortunately, one of those missing features.

In the current build of Dragonwilds, the only way you can move structures is to delete them and then rebuild them in the area you want. While this does make for a slightly larger hassle, it's not too much of an inconvenience.

All you have to do is press "B" to enter Build Mode. From here, press "T" to enter repair mode and then point your cursor dot directly at the structure you want to delete and move. You'll see tiny text on your screen that indicates what you're currently pointing at. For example, it will say "Rune Altar" on your screen if you're aiming at the Rune Altar.

Once you're aiming at the structure you want to delete, press the middle mouse button to delete it. This causes all of the resources you put into building the structure to appear on the ground, allowing you to fully recoup the cost of it. Run over to grab the resources and then enter Build Mode again. Now, you can find the structure you just deleted and build it again in the new place you want to put it.

Hopefully, the developers at Jagex will implement a full "move" feature with structures in the future. However, this is the best you can currently do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. So just make sure you remember to delete any structure you want to move, and you'll then be able to find a new spot for it.
