ROC Esports deliver perfectly balanced ALGS Pro League win

ROC Esports began a big comeback in the ALGS Pro League, taking a much needed win and improving on yesterdays performance. This win moves ROC significantly up the leaderboard, helping them settle comfortably into a qualification spot for the Midseason Playoffs.

Elsewhere, Twisted Minds, TSM and Team Falcons all also put in strong performances all earning valuable points of their own.

Heading into the last game, just three points separated ROC from Twisted Minds, copying EMEA with a tense finish to the days action. Teams like TSM and Team Falcons also lurked with a small, but real, chance to take first place if things went their way. Their chances weren't helped by a favourable zone for the leading two teams.

Team Falcons and TSM failed to put up the points they needed to close the gap to the top two, and when Twisted Minds were eliminated in eighth, that handed the win for the day over to ROC.

This marks a big milestone for the ROC since adding Sauceror after the ALGS Open. This roster has bundles of potential, marked as a major darkhorse at the start of Split 1. Things didn't quite work out with former TSM player Reps, with the team needing significantly better results of they wanted to secure their spot at the ALGS Midseason Playoffs.

However, if they perform like they did today, they'll comfortably book their spot in Riyadh. They earned almost an equal amount of points between placement and kills. This shows a great balance between taking fights and finding the right position in the zone. This balance is a lot easier said than done, and ROC seem to be the ALGS dark horses that they were predicted to be.
