New Paris Legion Roster Features World Champion John

The Paris Legion roster has been announced. Can they turn this franchise around?

The Paris Legion roster has officially been announced for the 2022 CDL season. The French team will consist of returning player Temp, Challengers graduates FeLo and Decemate, and finally 2016 Call of Duty World Champion, John.

The new Paris Legion roster hopes to turn things around

Things could not have gone worse over the last two seasons for Paris. That is both on a competitive and brand level.

The results have quite frankly been abysmal. During the early part of the Modern Warfare season, Paris showed a little promise. A few middle of the pack performances, which included a surprise second place finish, had them as a possible threat to better teams. However, they finished a disappointing 9-12 at COD Champs to end the year.

Cold War would be much, much worse. Paris started the year by announcing their roster just weeks before the start of the season. That quickly became a joke amongst fans and players on Twitter. The team itself didn’t seem to be built correctly either. They failed to finish higher than 8th-9th for the entirety of the season. Even with a roster change halfway through the year, they still failed to be a threat at any point.

Expectations for 2022

This new Paris Legion roster is an interesting one. Temp has a ton of experience and has played on very good teams in the past. His time on EnVy, Denial and Splyce he saw a decent amount of success, so he knows how to compete at a high level. John has a World Championship under his belt, and has been known as one of the best SMG players over the years. So there isn;t really any concern with these two.

The biggest question marks will be Decemate and FeLo. The former grinded through Challengers last season, but also spent the inaugural CDL season with the LA Guerillas. Some still worry about his consistency at the CDL level. FeLo is a proven professional. His years of Call of Duty experience will be a massive addition to this squad. Although, he has only a few matches under his belt at the top level over the past two seasons. Leadership shouldn’t be an issue, but it’s how he can impact his team in-game.

Paris has had a very rocky start to their CDL tenure. This Paris Legion roster will need to start the year off strong if they intend to have a positive 2022 campaign. It will be interesting to see how this team stacks up against the league’s best come January.
