Cookie Run Kingdom: Best teams for Abyss of the Flour

The Abyss of the Flour event is now live in Cookie Run Kingdom (CRK). Dark Enchantress Cookie is back with another evil plan involving the Beast Cookies. That said, all five former Soul Jam owners receive an invitation to the Grad Dust Hotel. In there, the story unfolds as Dark Enchantress looks to use the Beast Cookies as pawns for his grand chess game.

That said, the Abyss of the Flour event is fairly straightforward. You battle four of the Beast Cookies. You can set the challenge and see how far you can go. The higher the challenge difficulty, the more rewards.

To help you out, here is a guide on the best teams you can use for the Abyss of the Flour event in Cookie Run Kindom. 

There are four Beast Cookies you need to defeat in the Abyss of the Flour in Cookie Run Kingdom. Each Beast has their own challenge settings, which you can use to amp up the difficulty. The higher the points (Pts.) you add to the difficulty, the harder they are to beat, but they give more rewards. 

However, you don’t unlock all of the challenges from the start. You first need to defeat the boss on a lower difficulty. Each challenge can be increased by adding more points to it. These challenges can either increase the boss's stats, add unique abilities, or limit your team’s capabilities in the fight. At maximum Challenge points, you can have four cookies and three Powers for your team.

You can build your team as usual. However, instead of equipping treasures, you equip Powers. You unlock a Power or its respective upgrades by clearing stages. Some of them help in dealing damage, buffing ally stats, or summoning other Cookies without consuming your team slot.

Powers drop every time you defeat a boss. However, some of them only appear on specific difficulties. For example, the three best Powers you can use for every boss in Cookie Run Kingdom Abyss of the Flour are Triumph of Swiftness, Life’s Dominance, and Supremacy of Power, which can only be acquired on 1+ Challenge Pts.

To defeat each boss at maximum Challenge Pts. You need the right team composition. Fortunately, they don’t require too much investment to win. You just need the right Powers equipped. The team listed below is for 40 Challenge points, as you can only deploy four cookies in this difficulty.

For all the team compositions, you won't be changing too much of the lineup. You will be seeing Marshmallow Bunny Cookie having a consistent build for all the bosses. This cookie is immune to damage and debuffs and will only go down if there are no more allies left on the field. On top of that, the buffs and healing are also too good for this content.

On the other hand, you can tweak the build of Eternal Sugar Cookie depending on the boss. She can switch from a high HP tank to a DPS build. Wind Archer Cookie will also be on all teams due to his reliance on ATK SPD. This makes him the perfect candidate to receive the Triumph of Swiftness Power.

Shadow Milk Cookie is arguably the hardest to deal with out of all the bosses in the CRK Abyss of the Flour, which is why you need the best team for this stage. You will need someone who can tank the damage and be targeted with his Shackle ability.

For this team composition, you will need Awakened Pure Vanilla so he can purify the Injury debuff. Eternal Sugar Cookie needs to have the highest HP on the team. She will serve as the bait for Shadow Milk’s Shackle debuff.

For the Eternal Sugar Cookie boss, you need a bit more damage to take down her shields as fast as possible. Otherwise, you will be wasting a lot of time. This is why you will be focusing on having high DPS for this stage.

As mentioned above, the Eternal Sugar boss casts a shield around herself. You will need to deplete this shield as fast as possible. If you break it in time, she will fall asleep, and you get extra time to do extra hits. If you fail to break it in time, she gains an ATK boost, and your team will deal less damage.

The boss fight with Burning Spice Cookie is arguably the easiest for your team in Cookie Run Kindom Abyss of the Flour. However, if you take it slow, he can easily burn a huge chunk of your time. This is because he has a long invulnerability time when his HP drops too low.

There isn’t much to note about Burning Spice Cookie. All you need to do is throw as many hits as you can, so you have extra time for when he activates the brief immortality status. 

Just like Shadow Milk, Mystic Flour also applies injury to targets. However, she also applies the Apathy debuff, which can be more annoying.

By deploying Mythic Flour Cookie on your team, you get a white shield that also makes everyone immune to the Apathy debuff. This is why you stick to this lineup. With that, she poses little threat.
