EPL Season 17 format

The EPL Season 17 Group Stage will feature a triple elimination format. To earn a spot in the playoffs, the teams will have to win three times. The same goes for being eliminated as squads will have to lose three matches before saying goodbye to the tournament. All of matches will be best-of-three.

Four teams from each group will be in different brackets for the playoffs. The first team will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the other three will head to the lower rounds. The second-place team of that group will play in the Round of 12. If a team takes third place, then they will head to the Round of 16 alongside the fourth team.

The tournament will have a prize pool of $850,000, and the champion will get a spot in the IEM Cologne tournament, which is one of the most prestigious tournaments in CS:GO.
