And now to challenge the World Order?

Australia-based organization ORDER have announced the acquisition of the Renegades CS: GO roster, a move that is bound to shake the order of esports down under. This announcement also marks the return of ORDER to CS: GO after they dropped their roster earlier this year.

This move marks a return home for each of the five Renegades players. All of the players have donned the ORDER jersey in the past and in many ways it will be a return home for them.

“CSGO has always been in our DNA. We love the game and we continue to support it in every way,” said ORDER Chief Gaming Officer Chris Orfanellis. The acquisition of the top-performing Australian roster will see ORDER fight it out on an international level consistently. This group of players have seen the advancement of the ORDER infrastructure and Esports Program and are eager to get to work and represent us and an Australian Brand.”

ORDER’s previous roster did not find much success on the international stage. The team reached a peak rank of 54 in the HLTV rankings, signaling issues in the playstyle. Meanwhile, Renegades, as has been the case in the past, dominated the scene and even put themselves on the international stage competing against the world’s best opponents. Renegades breached the HLTV top 20 twice and also qualified for every Major since 2020.

What is ORDER’s CS: GO roster?

  • Simon “Sico” Williams
  • Jordan “Hatz” Bajic
  • Joshua “INS” Potter
  • Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas
  • Alistair “aliStair” Johnsto

With some of the biggest stars from the region in ORDER, the organization can spring quite a few surprises on the international stage.

“With the challenges of the last two years behind us, the team will be able to more freely and regularly compete alongside the best in the world, and we have no doubt this will result in the ability to go deeper in international tournaments, climb the HLTV rankings, and provide the entire Oceanic esports community with a team they are proud to support.”

ORDER CEO Marc Edwards.

The roster will next compete in the ESL Conference Season 16. ENCORE and Vertex are two other Australian teams attending the event. The ESL Conference Season 16 will see 16 teams competing for a $15,000 prize pool and more importantly, a possible slot in ESL Pro League Season 16. The top 16 teams at the Conference will qualify for the $835,000 ESL Pro League Season 16.
