S1mple and Zywoo set to face off in unique ‘Match of Leggends’ showmatch

Two of the best CS:GO players face each other in this epic showmatch.

Team Vitality and NAVI are set to battle it out in a show match titled the “Match of Leggends’ by GG.bet. The show match will see two of the best CS:GO players, S1mple and Zywoo go head to head. It also has a unique twist where the players will swap teams as they try to see which player performs the best without the team’s support. 

The showmatch will also present fans with an opportunity to check out Team Vitality’s latest player in action. While both teams will take part at IEM Cologne, they are both directly qualified teams. This means they are not participating in the play-in stage of the tournament which kicks off on July 5. 

The S1mple vs Zywoo showmatch will be broadcast on the following channels on July 8 at 6pm

Why should you watch this showmatch?

While this sounds like any other showmatch, it really isn’t. Both S1mple and Zywoo are iconic players for their respective teams, but what if they were not part of their team? Well, that’s something you will get to witness in this Match of Leggends showmatch. There will be three unique matches, each with a slight difference.

  • Game 1: Classic CS:GO game between NAVI and Team Vitality
  • Game 2: Zywoo and S1mple swap teams
  • and Game 3: Twitter Poll Most voted roster


Team Vitality fans can also use the V.Hive app which will allow them to bet their earned XP points in a prediction game. This feature is powered by the title sponsor, GG.BET to predict the outcome of the matches. There are several exclusive rewards 

flameZ makes his debut Vitality appearance

Recently, Team Vitality made a change to their roster with the addition of Shahar “flameZ” Shush. The former OG CS:GO player joined Zywoo and Co. on June 22 and will be a crucial component of the team going into IEM Cologne 2023. 

Vitality come into this tournament as one of the favorites having won the BLAST.tv Paris Major. However, their recent roster change has things up in the air and this showmatch would be their first test ahead of IEM Cologne.
