Double it and give it to the next person! Turbo Mode was infested with two identical heroes in a team following the Patch 7.32e release.

Turbo Mode in Dota 2 received a massive update in the newest 7.32e patch. Following new updates, there will usually be a swarm of bugs that lead to distorted gameplay. This time, Reddit is bombarded with complaints of two identical heroes on the same team and they are not an illusion!

Swapping heroes will get you double the hero

After the newest Dota 2 patch arrived, players flock to Turbo Mode to experience the changes for themselves. As always, hero swapping can happen if you don't feel like playing the current hero that you picked. Or if players were sneakily swapping cosmetics. And this is where things get interesting. Instead of the heroes being swapped, there was a glitch in the Matrix where the hero gets cloned. It's like a one-sided swap where the enemy gets your hero, but you remain with the same hero.

A bunch of users screenshotted their Turbo games, showcasing two Undyings, two Timbersaws, and even two Tinkers. This crazy Dota 2 bug had overtaken Turbo Mode.

The Dota 2 community went to Reddit to talk about their experience with the Dota 2 bug. They then figured out how to avoid (or abuse) the bug. The scary-but-amusing situation can only happen when the situation goes like this:

  1. You are playing Dota 2 Turbo Mode only.
  2. The timer goes down to zero and Dota 2 randomizes your hero.
  3. You ask for a hero swap with another player during Strategy Time. It won't work if you are not the one asking for the swap.
  4. Once the other player accepts, you will double your hero.

Unsurprisingly, a number of people have started to abuse the bug. If you're worried it'll affect your games, fret not, the janitors were quick on their feet to solve the bug. Though this bug is no longer in Dota 2, two Tinkers in a game will forever be ingrained in our memories..
