Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes brings a Mediterranean mood to Dota 2

Imagine a Dota tournament where you can win a luxury trip to Malta… Well luckily, it’s real, thanks to the Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes!

Remember your sunscreen alongside your gaming rigs as Pinnacle Esports, Gaming Malta, and Eden Esports team up to present the Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes. Announced today, the Pinnacle Cup will see over 40 Dota teams participate in a series of online events with a unique prize: A five-star luxury stay in Malta for a boot camp.

Over the next few months, Pinnacle will host a series of four online tournaments with a total prize pool of $50,000. This prize pool is based on both winners’ bracket and a series of bounties. From Round 2, every match won will get the team a bounty for enemy elimination. The size of the bounty will grow with each successive round.

On top of this, there’s the grand prize: Winners of the Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes event will be granted a premium week-long boot camp package with a luxurious stay at a five-star InterContinental hotel in Malta. The winner will be able to claim this once within the next year. Ideal if you’re just about to head off to a Major or TI12.

Dota 2 takes over Malta

Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes was organized as a collaboration between two Maltese organizations, Gaming Malta and Eden Esports, who are also teaming up with Pinnacle and GRID Esports.

GamingMalta is an independent non-profit foundation established by the Government of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

Eden Esports is a Malta-based esports tournament organizer founded in 2017 by the Eden Leisure Group. ELG are an entertainment and hospitality leader in the country.

Collaborating with bookmaker Pinnacle, and official data partner GRID Esports, this is a one-of-a-kind event with a unique prize. Bootcamps can be one of the most challenging and expensive parts of any team’s competitive year. Winning this tournament might make that all easy, though.

The first of four online events will start on March 30 and last until April 8. Check out Eden Esports’ official site for more information.
