Who is Geek Slate?

Geek Slate is a Malaysia-based organization that was established in 2016 by Lim "Sheep" Keat Kuang, who is currently a Dota 2 coach for the organization, alongside new arrival Romanian coach, Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza.

The current Dota 2 roster for the organization consists of Rolen "skem" Andrei Gabriel Ong, Joshua "Kokz" H. Maraño, Nikko "Force" Bilocura, and Ravdan "Narman" Narmandakh, who all joined in November 2022, when the organization re-entered the Dota 2 scene.

Geek Slate managed to qualify for the Lima Major based on their 2nd place in SEA Tour 1, but failed to make it out of the groups in Peru. Following the Lima Major, the organization made the decision to bring on coach, Immortal Faith and new player Jaunuel.

What's happening after Fnatic left the Dota 2 scene?

After Fnatic announced its withdrawal from the scene, the community speculated on the next steps of its players, as they were officially free agents. Other than Jaunuel's announcement of his move to Geek Slate, Djardel "DJ" Mampusti found a home in the Singaporean-based organization, Bleed Esports. Their fellow teammates, Damien "Kpii" Chok, Armel Paul Tabios, and Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte Santos have yet to announce their next destination.
