MOUZ has finally completed their new Dota 2 roster as the organizations makes another attempt to qualify for major tournaments.
On April 10, MOUZ announced that Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp will be joining their new Dota 2 roster. With a rebuild on the cards, the German organization looked to finally return to The International (TI) on their home turf in 2025. However, since then, there has been radio silence. A month later, MOUZ finally announced their full roster.
MOUZ is back (again)
While MOUZ has been present at a few qualifiers through 2025, they have not seen much in the way of Tier 1 Dota 2 tournaments. Their last big events came back in October 2024 at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. Since then, the team, with constant stand-ins, has struggled in qualifiers. While this included the likes of Tal “Fly” Azik, MOUZ has not made any real impact.

Having brought in Seleri in April, it seemed as though a big rebuild was on the cards. But after a month with no further news, everyone expected MOUZ to disappear into the Dota 2 history books once again. But it seems as though the team has reappeared, ready to fight again.

The full new MOUZ roster is:
- Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp
- Kyial “cutcutcut” Tayirov
- Marcel “Ekki” Hołowienko
- Abed “Abed” Yusop

According to the post on X, MOUZ will set its sights on the upcoming Esports World Cup (EWC), also known as the Riyadh Masters. While the team did compete in the 2024 iteration of the event, they never got very far. This time, with fewer teams, they will need to battle through the Western Europe qualification bracket if they want a chance at reaching the main event.
Right now, we do not know exactly when we will see MOUZ in action. However, it will be interesting to see if their new roster can finally bring the team back to its glory days.
