Street Fighter has just upped its franchise. The popular video game is getting a new live-action movie and has already picked up some big-name actors. The only question is whether or not they will be able to do the video game series justice.

Yes, Jason Momoa will be portraying the green giant. And no, not the one on the front of your green bean cans. This is a perfect casting as Momoa is ripped and tall with long hair. However, will he be able to do the famous character justice?

David Dastmalchian as M. Bison is a more recent casting, but fans are all here for it. The popular antagonist will be some difficult shoes to fill, but Dastmalchian is a mastermind when it comes to playing evil characters.

Even in Suicide Squad, Dastmalchian played a perfect anti-hero, making his casting for M. Bison in the live-action Street Fighter movie perfect.

Callina Liang as Chun-Li is a big favorite amongst many fans waiting for the live-action Street Fighter movie. Not only is Liang an amazing actress, but she is the perfect fit for Chun-Li. Her skills in the martial arts also fit well alongside her looks, which resemble Chun-Li exquisitely.

Okay, c'mon. You are telling me Joe Anoa'i is not the perfect casting for Akuma in the upcoming Street Fighter live-action film? Anoa'i, known for his role in the WWE, easily fits Akuma as he will easily be able to bring the strength and campiness to the big screen.

50 Cent joining the live-action Street Fighter movie was not on my bingo card for 2025, but I am all here for it. The infamous boxer has been around since 1991 and is a favorite amongst fans. However, will 50 Cent be able to live up to the famous character? Many fans have quite a few expectations around this one.
