Beast Games Season 2 Episode 6: Shocking twist gives Monika leverage before top 10 showdown

The sixth episode of Beast Games Season 2, called "Hearts Will Be Smashed," released on Jan. 28.

Episode 6 of Beast Games Season 2 picked up where the fifth episode left off. The previous episode ended with quite a cliffhanger as the remaining elimination cube held Jim, JC, and Monika. Jim and JC agreed to let Monika stay and left their fate to a card draw that Jim won. However, JC used his $10 million coin from the fourth episode as leverage. He offered the coin to Monika so that both he and the coin could stay in the game. The catch? Jim's self-elimination. Episode 6 revealed that Jim did not eliminate himself.

The remaining Beast Games Season 2 players were in shock as Jim had been talking about sacrificing himself to propel Monika further into the competition. Some players were frustrated because with JC and the $10 million coin gone, that removed a potential bonus to the show's guaranteed $5 million prize.

However, another major twist followed right after.

"I want to let you all know that we did play a fair game inside the cube," Monika said. "Jim and JC decided to give me a fast pass to the top. And I just want you all to know that JC had the opportunity to leave with the coin, but before JC left, he did gift me the coin to double the prize pot."

With the $10 million coin now in Monika's hands, everyone went up to JC and thanked him.

"I wanted to keep it in the game for you guys," JC said. "I hope one of you guys gets the $10 million. You're all very deserving of it. I just hope people got to see a different side of me. I'm trying to right my wrongs. I learned a lot from Season 1. This is where my journey ends and where yours begins."

The show only had 10 strong players and three smart players left. They all had giant hearts representing their spots in the competition. Talks of alliances began to happen, with the women wanting to support each other. Monika said that she would do what feels right.

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 6 then had the 13 remaining contestants compete in two challenges. The first one tested strength and next one tested intelligence. The strength challenge placed everyone 100 feet in the air and required them to hang from poles as platforms dropped. Monika outlasted everyone and secured her place in the top 10.

The next challenge had 12 test their memory. MrBeast, also known as James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, explained that this grid-based memory challenge stood between the 12 remaining players and elimination.

Each contestant placed a hand on a button to reveal a path and had 10 seconds to memorize the pattern before it disappeared. The first player to remove their hand earned the chance to attempt the path. Correct steps turned green while a single wrong move sent the player back. In the end, Nick made it to the finish line and earned a spot in the top 10 alongside Monika.

Nick and Monika then had to decide which three players to eliminate by smashing their aforementioned hearts. They eliminated Bryleigh first. This was followed up by Tyler. The third elimination appeared to be a difficult one.

"I think every single person standing here does deserve to be here, and this is  the hardest one for the both of us," Monika said. "I definitely don't want to be standing here doing this, but I think I gotta go with Nick on this one."

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 6 results then ended on a cliffhanger.
