The first five cast members of Big Brother 27 have finally been revealed.
After nearly nine months, it's time for another season of Big Brother. Big Brother 27 marks an important milestone for the reality TV show; the series has now been on the air for 25 straight years, with it originally starting in the summer of 2000. To celebrate that accomplishment, it appears as though CBS is going all out for Big Brother 27, and that starts with the cast.
At the time of writing, BB27 is set to begin in three days, and we still don't have any official word on when the cast is being fully revealed. However, over the Fourth of July weekend, CBS did tease us with a promotional video that showcases the first five members of the cast. Thanks to some dedicated BB fans, we now know exactly who these players are, and you can see each player's introductions below.
Who are the first five cast members of Big Brother 27?
The first five cast members were revealed through a commercial that CBS ran on Saturday, July 5. After the commercial fan, BB fans rushed online to find out exactly who the players are, where they come from, and just about anything else they could dig up. The community also managed to record the commercial and post it online so anyone who missed it can see for themselves.
Somehow, some way, BB fans used this extremely short commercial to find out who all five of the first cast members are. In the order they appear in the commercial, the first five cast members of BB27 are:
Vince Panaro

Katherine Woodman

Ashley Hollis

Zach Cornell

Isaiah Frederich

So far, we know quite a good deal about a few of the cast members.
For starters, Zach Cornell is a former professional baseball player who played for the Washington Nationals in the minor leagues. He last suited up in 2021 before apparently transferring to a marketing job in Atlanta, Georgia, which is where he's originally from.
We don't have to look too far for our first potential alliance of BB27, as Vince Panaro also played baseball at a high level. Panaro played college baseball for Colorado Christian in 2013, but never took it further than that. Still, if Cornell and Panaro wind up telling the truth about their pasts, the two could form an immediate bond inside the house.
The lone male left of the first five, Isaiah Frederich, also took part in collegiate athletics, but not in the way you might think. Frederich was a part of the cheerleading team at Brigham Young University (BYU). He was at BYU as recently as this year, so it seems like he's still a college student and might be one of the younger members of the cast.
Finally, we have Katherine Woodman and Ashley Hollis. Not too much is known about either of them, but we know Woodman is from Virginia while Hollis hails from New York and works in law.
That's all we have on the cast of Big Brother 27 for now, but we should see an official cast list in the next day or two before the season begins on Thursday, July 10.
