Fortnite introduces LEGO Fortnite Expeditions; New PvE experience to launch soon

Forgot about LEGO Fortnite? Well, the popular game mode just dropped a bombshell, announcing a brand new PvE experience called LEGO Fortnite Expeditions. The new game mode has quite a few features for players to indulge in.

Let's break down LEGO Fortnite Expeditions and everything it includes.

Fortnite continuously gives fans new content, and LEGO Fortnite is no exception. In fact, the popular LEGO Fortnite gamemode, Odyssey, which is just a new name for the regular mode, introduced Spires in the world earlier this month. This just goes to show that the game is still getting frequent updates to its ongoing storyline.

However, LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is not just a regular update, but a brand new game mode. So, what is LEGO Fortnite Expeditions? Well, the new PvE mode allows players to enroll in the newly founded Supernova Academy, allowing them to train, team up and unlock their full superhero potential.

This is pretty much LEGO Fortnite meets My Hero Academia (or Sky High for the boomers).

But what is the end goal of becoming a superhero? Is it just to show off your powers to your friends? Or is there more to it?

It would seem that LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is not being added to the game just for players' amusement, but to help create a band of heroes to take down Mask Maker Daigo and his evil forces.

The game mode will have you team up with other players in 4-player co-op missions, giving players XP whenever they complete a mission. This will also help progress Team Projects, which are buffs that will be usable by all players.

Not only will there be missions, but players will also have different Hero Classes to choose from, defining their powers and giving everyone a different experience.
