Fortnite OG Season 4 features an Easter egg memorializing a classic clip, where streamer Ninja was in a tough situation with no way out.

Fortnite OG just launched its newest season, bringing players into Chapter 1 Season 4. The game began to gain momentum around this time, with content creator Tyler "Ninja" Blevins at the forefront. As part of the latest OG season, Fortnite included a fun Easter egg in one of Ninja's most iconic clips.

This article provides context for the Easter egg, explaining where it can be found and including Ninja's reaction to seeing the fun nod to the good old days.

Where can I find the Ninja Easter egg in Fortnite?

The legendary moment in Fortnite history went down at the location marked above. You can find this spot slightly southeast of Lonely Lodge, behind the house indicated on the map. Once you head to this spot, you will find some seemingly random ramps built along the backside of the mountain.

However, they are not random, but rather a tribute to one of Fortnite's OG players and his squadmates. It's a tragically hilarious moment and an Easter egg that represents Ninja's solidified spot in the game's storied history.

So, what happened in the viral Ninja clip?

We thought you'd never ask. Please allow us to take you back to 2018, specifically with a squad comprised of Ninja, DrLupo, Timthetatman, and Trevory May. What appeared to be a regular game of Fortnite was anything but, as Ninja made a crucial mistake.

He jumped over a fence at the perfect angle, causing him to slide down the mountain while frantically attempting to save himself. However, his lack of building materials led to Ninja's ultimate demise. While negotiating with DrLupo to drop him additional materials, he requested that Ninja call him "daddy."

This all occurred while DrLupo fired upon the ramp that was keeping his teammate alive in the match. Ninja obliged, referring to DrLupo as "daddy," leading to a generous gift of building materials. As Ninja prepared to jump, grab the materials, and save himself, he gathered one singular material.

Ninja reacts to Epic's homage to the classic moment

A few days following the release of Fortnite OG Season 4, Ninja queued into a match to experience the Easter egg for himself. The clip above contrasts the current day with the moment as it happened nearly seven years ago. Ninja even went so far as to provide viewers with a reenactment of how it unfolded.

He concluded the reaction with a sincere thank you to Epic Games for including the homage. It's refreshing to see the developers memorializing a classic clip like this in the game. We hope to see more as Fortnite OG continues.
