Fortnite v29.20 patch notes: Everything included in the update

From Rocket Racing to Avatar, here’s everything included in the Fortntie v29.20 update!

The Fortnite v29.20 update went live this morning. This patch opened the new season of Rocket Racing while laying the foundation for the Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender collab, due to arrive later this week. Today, we’ll explain everything new in the v29.20 update and include some leaked information. 

Fortnite Rocket Racing: Neon Rush begins

Five new tracks have entered the Rocket Racing rotation via the Fortnite v29.20 update. Players can unlock each track by progressing through the ranks in Ranked Mode. Below, we have provided a list of all new tracks:

  • Jackrabbit – Unlocked at Bronze I
  • Tri-City – Unlocked at Silver I
  • Slap Happy – Unlocked at Gold I
  • Conduit – Unlocked at Platinum I
  • Delirium – Unlocked at Diamond I

Ranks have reset, so players can jump into Rocket Racing Ranked Mode and start leveling up!

Creator-made Rocket Racing maps debut in Fortnite v29.20

Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) has made its way into Rocket Racing via the latest update. According to Epic Games’ blog post, map makers can now design and implement Rocket Racing tracks. The following categories separate these courses:

  • What’s Possible in UEFN: A temporary row highlighting the possibilities of creating tracks with UEFN
  • Community Speed Run: Top Tracks: The most popular creator-made Speed Run tracks in the community
  • Community Speed Run: New Tracks: Creator-made Speed Run tracks quickly rising in popularity
  • Community Racing: Top Tracks: The most popular creator-made Racing tracks in the community
  • Community Racing: New Tracks: Creator-made Racing tracks quickly rising in popularity

Neon Rush Kickoff Quests now live

With the new season, Epic Games has rolled out a fresh set of Rocket Racing Quests. Players who complete these Quests can unlock the Aetherius Wheels (pictured above) and 13 different paint colors. 

Fuse Starter Quest Pack details via Fortnite v29.20

Beginning April 11, players can purchase the Fuse Starter Pack, which includes various in-game cosmetics. 

Here’s a list of what’s included in the Fuse Starter Quest Pack:

  • Fuse Car Body
  • 5 Fuse Decals (Flames, Lightning, Stripes, Wings, Formline)
  • Matius Outfit (Has a Fortnite Style, and a LEGO® Style to use in Fortnite experiences that support LEGO Styles)

Those who purchase the bundle and complete the requisite quests will receive the following:

  • Fuse Quest Bundle* - Complete Quests in Rocket Racing to earn:
    • 13 standard paint colors for Fuse
    • 2 Fuse Decals (Fluorescent and Whip-Tail)
    • Silver Rush Style for the Matius Outfit
    • Gold paint color for Fuse

Fortnite Avatar collab information leaked during Fortnite v29.20 downtime

Ahead of the Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration, the following cosmetics are currently available in the Item Shop:

  • Zuko & Katara Bundle: 3,200 V-Bucks
  • Character Packs: 2,000 V-Bucks
  • Air Flurry Emote: 500 V-Bucks

Fortnite leaker FNBRIntel provided a look at the three upcoming Avatar Mythic abilities, which you can see below:

With the Avatar collab due to come full circle on Friday, April 12, Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey provided the first look at Aang.

Aang will have two separate skins, and both will be available via the upcoming Elements Pass.
