Gamers8 $2M Fortnite Saudi tournament: Teams, schedule, how to watch and more

Many of Fortnite’s top players have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the $2M Gamers8 LAN competition, featuring Zero Build and Battle Royale.

Competitive Fortnite heads to Saudi Arabia for the $2 million Gamers8 tournament. Tomorrow begins a weekend of events in the traditional Battle Royale and scorching hot Zero Build mode. Many of the world’s best players were invited to attend, including FNCS winners EpikWhale, Kami, Setty, TaySon, Chapix, Hen, and more. Others, such as Turner “Tfue” Tenney and even popular IRL streamer Mizkif, received invites but ultimately backed out. 

The event bolsters an incredibly sizable prize pool and a slew of talented professional Fortnite players. Today, we’ll explain everything you need to know about the Gamers8 Fortnite LAN in Saudi Arabia. 

Gamers8 Fortnite tournament: Confirmed format, teams & schedule

The event begins tomorrow, July 28, with the first six matches in the Zero Build portion. Then, on July 29, the final six games will round out the Zero Build event. 

The proverbial main event lies within the Battle Royale portion, where many of these players have earned their stripes. As a result, the Battle Royale event takes place on July 30 and July 31, with six daily games. 

Here’s a look at the tournament ahead. All matches begin at 12 PM EST on each respective day:

Zero Build 

  • Day 1: July 28

Battle Royale (Standard Mode)

  • Day 1: July 30
  • Day 2: July 31

A total of 44 duos will be in attendance to compete in both tournaments for a share of $2 million. Moreover, those players include the best that Europe has to offer and others from Asia, North America, Brazil, and the Middle East.

The Gamers8 Fortnite tournament in Saudi Arabia features a dedicated broadcast for all four days of action. Furthermore, you can watch the competition unfold on the Gamers8 Twitch channel beginning at 12 PM EST each day. However, it’s unclear whether the individual players will have the opportunity to stream their perspectives.
