Peterbot and AussieAntics are your 2025 FNCS Pro-Am Champions!

Professional Fortnite player Peter "Peterbot" Kata added another milestone to his already impressive resume following his and AussieAntics' 2025 FNCS Pro-Am victory. Despite being amongst the favorites, many duos stood a legitimate chance at winning.

Unfortunately for the other teams, Peterbot played like a five-time Fortnite Champion Series winner. With help from his content creator duo, they won a match and eventually hoisted the FNCS Pro-Am trophy. Here's how the tournament played out at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Peterbot played to his strengths en route to Pro-Am victory (so basically everything)

Many expected an elimination clinic out of Peterbot at the event this weekend, especially given the number of content creators. Sure enough, the defending Global Champion collected numerous points with eliminations on Lachlan and Ali-A throughout the tournament.

However, it wasn't just the creators who fell victim to Peterbot's wrath. The consensus best player in the world led the Pro-Am with 34 eliminations—13 more than Th0masHD, who managed 21 eliminations. Peterbot also finished with 10,575 damage dealt, nearly 6,000 more than 916Gon in second.

This victory marks Peterbot's second consecutive LAN victory, following his 2024 FNCS Global Championship triumph. It seems no one can stop this player, including, by his own words, Peterbot's FNCS Pro-Am teammate.

AussieAntics played to Peterbot's strengths and earned his stripes

While AussieAntics attributed the triumph primarily to Peterbot, the viewing party extraordinaire did what he needed to do. Esports.gg spoke with the creator and his teammate one day before the tournament. He informed us of his strategy to stay alive and enable Peterbot to let loose.

This approach worked magnificently, as Peterbot could respawn as needed per the Fortnite Reload format and frag out. However, it's worth giving AussieAntics his flowers for dealing the third-most damage and earning seven eliminations. Four eliminations were on professional players, including the legend Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson.

Once the final Victory Royale screen rolled, Peterbot was the clear FNCS Pro-Am MVP, but this tournament required a team effort. AussieAntics won a LAN event as a content creator and finally put the Oceania region on the map.

Looking back on a fun tournament with some hilarious moments

The FNCS Pro-Am provided hours of entertainment, even during an unintentional power outage and lengthy delay. When the broadcast suddenly ceased during game three, creators SypherPK and Nick Eh 30 competed in a push-up contest.

From a pure Fortnite perspective, this event drew fans from both the competitive and casual sides of the game. It also shone a light on Fortnite Reload, which continues to grow in popularity due to its fast pace.

From Lachlan and Ali-A becoming Peterbot's victims to the game four winners, Rezon and Faxuty, nearly losing because of fall damage, the Pro-Am should happen more often.
