These reports arrived on Sunday, March 9 through various reputable leakers. However, NotPaloLeaks initially circulated the story, beginning with some mysterious Fortnite-branded posters in what appears to be a train station.

Even more interesting is that the "I" and "T" in Fortnite make the number 17, with "Coming Soon" written underneath. Since these initial reports, many leakers have confirmed Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers is at the center of this crossover.

ShiinaBR later revealed that the Shohei Ohtani Fortnite Icon Series skin will be cel-shaded and feature his jersey number.

Prominent leaker HYPEX has reported that, in addition to Ohtani wearing the number 17, the Fortnite collaboration will also arrive on Monday, March 17. While Epic Games has not confirmed this release date yet, we should learn more details soon.
