The Walmart Delivers experience at DreamHack Atlanta 2025 is all about retro gaming and community.

DreamHack Atlanta 2025 kicks off on Oct. 31, and Walmart is joining the fun with its Walmart Delivers experience.

DreamHack Atlanta 2025 gets Walmart retro gaming hub

According to the announcement, the Walmart Delivers experience is a retro-themed hub that celebrates 8-bit gaming from the late ’80s and early ’90s. Therefore, folks can look forward to playing some classic board and video games. They can also make their way up a live leaderboard, take an 8-bit-style photo, and receive some free gamer goodies that are sold at Walmart.

"We are thrilled to welcome Walmart and their Walmart Delivers experience to DreamHack Atlanta,” Andreas Jernberg, the vice president of commercial at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), said, adding that the festival celebrates the gaming lifestyle and brings the community together.

"Their lo-fi gaming hub is a fantastic addition that adds a nostalgic spirit to our event, offering a unique and engaging experience for our attendees," Jernberg said. "It's great to see a brand like Walmart engaging with our community in such an authentic way."

Where to find the Walmart Delivers experience

The Walmart Delivers experience is a tour that's happening across the states. In addition to Atlanta, Georgia, the brand is also visiting cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, and Chicago. DreamHack Atlanta 2025 attendees, in particular, should look for a Walmart delivery truck with pixel art if they wish to participate in some retro gaming.

When does DreamHack Atlanta 2025 start?

In terms of the DreamHack Atlanta 2025 dates, the festival goes from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, giving attendees an entire weekend to check out the Walmart Delivers experience. Other activities to note include a cosplay competition, Halloween costume contest, and esports tournaments galore.
