The Game Awards 2022 ended on a strange note when an individual went on stage and mentioned Bill Clinton. This happened after Elden Ring won the Game of the Year award and FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki made his acceptance speech.

Who crashed The Game Awards 2022?

Matan Even, who is a 15-year old, crashed The Game Awards 2022, according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier. However, it wasn't the first time that Even did a publicity stunt.

"Just spoke to the guy who interrupted The Game Awards," Schreier wrote on Twitter. "He says his name is Matan and that he's 15 years old. Some thought his speech was an antisemitic dogwhistle, but he is almost certainly a Jewish prankster. He understood a question I asked in Hebrew (then pretended he didn't)."

Back in 2019 during an basketball event, Even held up a shirt that read, "Fight for freedom stand with Hong Kong." The camera quickly panned away after capturing that moment.

Later that same year, Even attended BlizzCon 2019 and interrupted a panel about the World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion. He shouted "Free Hong Kong" while walking near the front of the panelists.

Even appeared as a guest on Infowars back in 2019 and 2020 as well.
