When will Nefer be playable in Genshin Impact?
Nefer will be available in Genshin Impact version Luna II, scheduled for October 22, 2025. She is the only new 5-star character on this patch, and is the fourth Nod-Krai 5-star character, counting Ineffa. You can view Nefer's Ascension and Talent materials here.
Nefer kit
Nefer is a 5-star Dendro Catalyst unit. Most of her scalings rely on Elemental Mastery.
Basic ATK - Striking Serpent
This is the normal basic attack. However, she has a unique Charged Attack. In it, Nefer enters the "Slither" state that moves her rapidly while consuming stamina. This state ends after a duration, when the button is released, or if her stamina runs out. At the end, it can consume Stamina to deal Dendro DMG to nearby enemies.
Sprinting or casting her Skill does not cancel Slither.
Special Charged ATK - Phantasm Performance
This replaces the normal Charged Attack and becomes available while in the Shadow Dance State from the Elemental Skill.
Phantasm Performance does not consume stamina. Nefer summons a Shade to perform Dendro DMG to enemies.
This deals more DMG based on Veil of Falsehood stacks.
Elemental Skill - Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights
Charges forward, dealing AoE Dendro DMG and entering Shadow Dance State.
While in the Shadow Dance State and having at least 1 Verdant Dew, Nefer's Charged Attack turns into Phantasm Performance.
This has two charges.
Elemental Burst - Sacred Vow: True Eye's Phantasm
Consume all Veils of Falsehood to deal AoE Dendro DMG.
Nefer Passive Talents
Moonsign Benediction: Dusklit Eaves
All Bloom reactions are converted into Lunar-Bloom. Its damage will scale off Nefer's Elemental Mastery.
When Nefer is in the party, increase the Moonsign Level by 1.
A Wager of Moonlight
Nefer will gain buffs based on the party's Moonsign.
At Ascendant Gleam, her Elemental Skill turns all Dendro Cores and bountiful Cores into Seeds of Deceit, and Lunar-Bloom reactions within the effect duration will also produce Seeds of Deceit. These Seeds do not trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon and cannot burst.
Nefer's Charged Attacks (including Phantasm Performance) will absorb all Seeds within a range for Veil of Falsehood stacks. At 3 stacks, Nefer gains Elemental Mastery.
Daughter of the Dust and Sand
Nefer's additional Elemental Mastery past a certain point will also increase her ATK.
Conspiracy of the Golden Vault
She gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Nod-Krai Expedition for 20 hours. She also has the ability to obtain intelligence from NPCs.

- Observation Feeds Strategy
- Veil of Falsehood has increased stack limit and duration.
- Buff duration and Bonus EM at max stacks increased.
- Elemental Skill grants two Veil of Falsehood stacks.
- Deceit Cloaks the Truth - Elemental Skill level and level cap up by 3.
- Delusion Ensnares Reason - While in the Shadow Dance state, gain Verdant Dew faster and decrease Dendro RES of nearby enemies.
- Opportunity Hides in the Margins - Elemental Burst level and level cap up by 3.
- Victory Flows from the Turning of Tides
- Phantasm Performance deals instances of AoE Dendro DMG.
- Lunar-Bloom DMG buff from Ascendant Gleam increased.
