“At the highest level, reliability and precision matter. Razer’s gear helps me stay consistent in crucial moments.”
This year, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok made history once again by winning the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2025). A common thread in his victories over the years is none other than Razer gear. He claimed his first four World titles with the Razer DeathAdder, added a fifth using the Razer Viper V3 Pro, and in his latest win, competed with the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition. Esports.gg interviewed Faker about his long-standing partnership with Razer and more.

Razer x Faker interview: A decade of support
In his interview with esports.gg, Faker shared that early in his career, Razer's mouse felt the most natural and precise. Therefore, it made a lot of sense to work with Razer when the brand reached out. According to Faker, Razer also listens closely to player feedback and continuously improves their products.
"Early in my career, Razer's mouse felt the most natural and precise. Later, when they reached out, the partnership made sense because I already trusted their performance," Faker said. "They listen closely to player feedback and keep improving their products. That attitude has kept my trust steady."

Creating the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition
As noted, the player used the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition to compete in Worlds 2025. What's special about this mouse is that Faker played a major role in creating it. During that process, Faker focused on grip, weight, and control. He and the Razer team also tested several prototypes and refined them until the mouse felt right.
"I focused on grip, weight, and control. We tested several prototypes and refined them until the mouse felt natural for my playstyle," Faker said. "At the highest level, reliability and precision matter. Razer’s gear helps me stay consistent in crucial moments."

Jeffrey Chau, Razer's global head of esports, also recalled Faker's dedication to creating the perfect mouse. According to Chau, Faker not only tested every mouse and prototype thoroughly, but he also gave the Razer team deliberate feedback on weight, base, and micro movements. He would often take a full week instead of one day to assess each product as well.
This, coupled with Faker's winning formula, gave Razer the confidence to hinge the launch of the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition on a T1 victory at Worlds 2025. The team increased inventory and even created over 40 campaign assets in preparation for the win. The bold decision paid off.
- First Four titles: Razer DeathAdder
- Fifth title (2024) : Razer Viper V3 Pro
- Sixth title (2025): Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition
Faker's favorite Razer products
It's not only the Razer DeathAdder line of products that Faker has an interest in, either. The Unkillable Demon King himself makes regular use of Razer's Viper series and mousepads.
"I often use the Viper series and Razer’s mousepads because they feel consistent and comfortable for long practice sessions," he said.

What winning Worlds 2025 means to Faker
As for parting words, Faker shared what winning Worlds 2025 means to him.
"It was very meaningful, and it reminded me how much support my family has given me since the beginning," he said.
