LoL patch notes 25.07

Here are some LoL patch 25.07 highlights as well. Buffs are going to Brand, Ivern, Olaf, Shaco, Trundle, Volibear, and Zoe. Meanwhile Gwen, Darius, Naafiri, Lillia, and Lulu are receiving nerfs. Meanwhile, Yone, Yorick, and Xerath are getting balance adjustments. The patch also includes system buffs and nerfs, along with changes to the game's lane swap detector.

Gwen nerfs, Naafiri nerfs, and more

Riot Phroxzon shared additional details about Gwen's changes, the Naafiri nerfs, and system updates as well. Gwen's recent adjustments, in particular, successfully improved her viability in high-level top lane play. However, this turned out to be slightly too strong even after the micropatch. Therefore, she is receiving nerfs in LoL patch 25.07.

As for Naafiri, Riot Phroxzon stated that she remains strong despite the micropatch, which means further nerfs. These adjustments aim to weaken her early game a bit, particularly in the jungle, while keeping her high damage output but making it harder to access.

In terms of system updates, Catalyst the Protector is getting an increase in efficiency so it could compete with Lost Chapter. Umbral Glaive is also being adjusted because it's been underwhelming outside of Pyke. As for Recall Homeguard with Symbiotic Soles, the former is getting nerfed in the mid lane.

That's all for now. Stick around on esports.gg for more news and updates.
