Alter Ego vs TLPH: M7 Knockout Stage Day 5 Recap
Game 1

Alter Ego went all-in in Game 1 and immediately took control, building a massive early-game lead with a 14–5 kill score by the 8-minute mark. Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya’s Khaleed pick in the EXP lane, a hero more commonly played as a roamer, struggled to find impact.
Yazukee dominated the map on Joy, forcing KarlTzy’s Baxia to give up significant resources. The snowball continued as Alter Ego relentlessly invaded jungle camps and denied TLPH any room to recover. The punishment was quick and brutal, with Alter Ego closing the game in just 15 minutes on a commanding 28–12 kill score.
Game 2

TLPH responded in Game 2 with their signature setup, drafting Jaypee Gonzales “Jaypee” Dela Cruz on Chip and Alston “Sanji” Pabico on Luo Yi for a surprise teleport-heavy composition. While Alter Ego secured the early pickoffs, the game evened out once both teams hit Level 4.
Despite TLPH holding an edge in map control, Alter Ego kept pace through constant rotations and vision control. Trades continued across the map, but TLPH consistently secured the major objectives, maintaining their gold advantage. At the 10-minute mark, TLPH scored a decisive wipeout that shattered Alter Ego’s momentum. From there, Alter Ego slowly folded, allowing TLPH to close the second round dominantly.
Game 3

Both squads opted for late-game compositions in Game 3, leading to nonstop skirmishes in the early minutes as they fought over key resources. At the 8-minute mark, KarlTzy swung the momentum with a triple kill on Leomord, giving TLPH a 2k gold lead.
Alter Ego briefly clapped back a minute later with a four-man pickoff, but KarlTzy answered once again at the 11-minute mark with another triple kill, followed by a full teamfight wipeout. This gave TLPH uncontested control over the Lord. The relentless aggression eventually caught up with Alter Ego, as they fell behind in resources and lost map control. With no tools left to contest, Alter Ego folded, and TLPH secured another convincing win.
Game 4

With their M7 run on the line, Alter Ego went all out in Game 4. Dalvin “Hijumee” Putra locked in his signature Pharsa, while Syauki “Nino” Sumarno picked Sora. With overwhelming teamfight control on their side, TLPH struggled to find openings.
Kiel “Oheb” Soriano was repeatedly picked off on Claude, further limiting TLPH’s options. By the 8-minute mark, Alter Ego had built an 8k gold lead and was freely stealing resources across the map. A desperate Lord steal attempt by TLPH at the 10-minute mark failed miserably, pushing them further into disadvantage. Sensing the end, Alter Ego committed to an all-in push and closed the game to force a deciding fifth round.
Game 5

Both teams played cautiously in Game 5, unwilling to make the mistake that would end their tournament run. Yazukee opted for a Uranus jungle pick, while TLPH drafted a non-marksman composition.
Alter Ego steadily gained the upper hand as TLPH repeatedly found themselves caught in unfavorable positions. By the 16-minute mark, Hijumee became unstoppable on Zhuxin. Despite TLPH holding on through disciplined base defenses, Alter Ego eventually found a decisive wipeout at the 19-minute mark. They immediately pushed to end the game, closing the series and denying TLPH their Golden Road dream.
